Scabies: The lotion is primarily used to treat scabies, a skin infestation caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei.

Penetration: It is absorbed into the skin and hair follicles where the mites and lice reside, ensuring effective treatment.
Cetrimide: Antiseptic Action: Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic. It helps to clean the skin and prevent secondary bacterial infections that can occur with scabies and lice infestations.
Soothing Effect: Cetrimide has mild soothing properties that can help reduce itching and irritation associated with infestations.

Preparation: Ensure that the skin is clean and dry before application.
Application for Scabies: Apply a thin layer of the lotion to the entire body from the neck down. Leave the lotion on for the duration specified by your healthcare provider, usually 8-12 hours, before washing it off thoroughly with soap and water.
Application for Lice: Apply the lotion to dry hair and scalp, ensuring that all hair and the scalp are thoroughly covered. Leave the lotion on for the duration specified by your healthcare provider, usually 10 minutes, before rinsing it out with water. Use a fine-toothed comb to remove dead lice after treatment.

Allergies: Inform your healthcare provider if you have any known allergies to gamma benzene hexachloride, cetrimide, or other ingredients in the lotion.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Gamma benzene hexachloride should be used with caution during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Consult your healthcare provider before using this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Children: Use in infants and young children should be under strict medical supervision, as they are more susceptible to the toxic effects of lindane.
