Antifungal Treatment: Ciclopirox cream is primarily used to treat various fungal skin infections, such as athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm (tinea corporis), and jock itch (tinea cruris).
Seborrheic Dermatitis: It is also effective in treating seborrheic dermatitis, a condition that causes scaly patches, red skin, and stubborn dandruff.
Effect on the Body
Fungicidal Activity: Ciclopirox works by interfering with the normal function of fungal cell membranes, inhibiting the production of essential enzymes and proteins that the fungus needs to survive.
Anti-inflammatory Properties: It also has mild anti-inflammatory effects, which help to reduce redness, itching, and swelling associated with skin infections.
How to Use
Clean and Dry the Affected Area: Before applying the cream, clean the affected area with mild soap and water, then pat it dry.
Apply a Thin Layer: Gently apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area and surrounding skin, usually once or twice daily, as directed by a healthcare provider.
Massage In: Rub the cream in until it is evenly distributed.
Consistency: Continue using the cream for the full duration of treatment, even if symptoms improve before completing the course, to prevent recurrence.

Avoid Contact with Eyes: Keep the cream away from your eyes, nose, mouth, and other mucous membranes.
